Power factor improvement equipment
Improving power factor reduces electricity costs.
In general, not all of the electricity flowing (i.e., apparent power) is doing work. In addition to the actual working active power, there is also reactive power that does not perform work flowing simultaneously. The value that indicates what percentage of the flowing electricity is doing work is called "power factor." Shizuki's power factor correction equipment can bring the power factor close to 100%, resulting in the following benefits: 1. Electricity bills are discounted. By installing capacitors to improve the power factor, the basic fee is discounted accordingly. For example, if the power factor is improved from 85% to 95%, a 10% discount is applied. Additionally, the installation of low-voltage capacitors provides the following effects: 2. Increased capacity in power facilities. With more capacity in the on-site transformers and electrical lines, it becomes possible to increase the load without having to expand the facilities. 3. Reduced power loss. The current flowing through the on-site transformers and electrical lines decreases, leading to reduced power loss, allowing for more effective use of electricity. 4. Voltage stabilization. With reduced voltage drops and fluctuations on-site, high-quality electricity can be used, stabilizing product quality and improving productivity. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
